"As scored" points are each season's championship points, or the race points when only some races are counted (no sprints, no dropped scores). "Today's system" re-scores every Grand Prix finish as 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1, so eras compare fairly. Poles count the fastest qualifier where qualifying results exist and the pole sitter on the grid where they don't, before 1994 and in some races up to 2002.
